The Institute for Holocaust Education (IHE) invites the Omaha community to join its annual Yom HaShoah commemoration on May 5, 2027. The ceremony honors the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, celebrates the resilience of survivors, and ensures their stories are remembered for generations to come.

The program will feature a candle lighting ceremony with clergy, survivors, descendants of survivors, and community members, along with a special guest speaker who will help educate and inspire the community through the lessons of the Holocaust.
