This webinar will introduce our digital Holocaust memory resource that compliments Nebraska educational standards and includes free access to all lesson plans.

  • We will review frameworks of the Inquiry Based lessons created by practicing educators and edited by instructors trained in Holocaust and genocide educational guidelines.
  • The webinar is open to all presently teaching these topics or who have plans to teach in the future.

The Nebraska Stories of Humanity: Holocaust Survivors & WWII Veterans Network Portal & Educational Website centralizes access to the history of Nebraska Holocaust survivors and WWII liberators of Nazi camps in a collection of searchable stories in aggregate. Digital humanities tools provide cross-disciplinary study and research opportunities.

Nestoriesofhumanity.unl.edu includes testimony, primary historical resources, documentation, and photos collected from local and disparate sources.
