Museum Visit Options:
2-Hour tour—This includes the exhibit and video with discussion, which is appropriate for groups of 50 students or less. Your group will be split into two with one half watching the video and discussing it while the other tours the exhibit. Each session will last 45 minutes, with a break in between.
3-Hour tour— This includes the exhibit, video with discussion, and access to the museum’s other exhibits, and is appropriate for groups of up to 75 people. Your group will be split into three with 1/3 watching the video and discussing it, 1/3 tour in the exhibit, and 1/3 touring the museum at large (no guide). Each session will last 45 minutes, with a break in between and stu-dents will rotate through the three stations.
Guidelines:
The fee for the museum is $4.00 per student. Adult chaperones are admitted at no cost. Group admission must be paid in one sum—cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard.
A minimum of 2 teachers is required for the 2-hour tour (maximum 50 students).
A minimum of 3 teachers is required for the 3-hour tour (maximum 75 students).
The museum is not able to provide a docent or adult supervision for your group. If you request a guided museum experi-ence, an educator from the IHE will meet you at the exhibit.
*PLEASE NOTE: The following museum visits do not include access to the Planetarium or the Strategic Air & Space Museum’s simulation activities, for which there are additional charge and time requirements.
